These Resources include bibliographies and informative websites, including those for each and every degree-specific accrediting association whose assessment requirements are posted for member programs as they prepare for re-accreditation. Note, too, the link on this website’s homepage to the American Association of Higher Education, which has pioneered the assessment movement since its inception in the 1980s; its website and principles of best practices are also valuable off-campus Resources. For your information, SIU’s self-study for re-accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission, whose PDF is key-word searchable, is linked below. You will note how far the university has come since January 2010.
